It's been a while since I've had time to update the blog so here goes a fairly long post to cover the last year or two.

Iron moths got the trunk

I had this mess all along the trunk lid.  I spent some time repairing it and ended up with this.

I don't know if I'll keep it.  I'll have to see how it looks when I'm done and may just replace the entire lid.

Now for the rear quarter panels

I first braced the trunk with 1" square tubing.  I didn't know if it is going to move or not but didn't want to take the chance.  

Then I cut most of the panel off to get to the spot welds a little easier.

After a few hundred (seemed like thousands) of spot welds the driver side rear quarter was off.

Out came the wheel well.
